Freshman Year - DF2 - Itsy Bitsy Teeny Tiny

Itsy Bitsy Teeny Tiny was our first multi-part project that included a color board. The premise was to be paired with a partner, interview them, then design based on their needs, aesthetic, and within the confines of the project requirements. My client Maddie had a soft glam aesthetic with small bohemian accents, loved to cook, take care of her plants and cat, and needed plenty of space for her collectibles. The real challenge in this project was designing a larger kitchen in a space that seemed only to be able to support a kitchenette. This was successfully achieved through the idea of combining her work, storage, and kitchen space into a long counter top that then transformed into shelving storage for her items. To combat the dining space challenge, a mobile dining counter was chosen to fulfill this need. Overall, the design for the space is thorough and meets the needs of the client to its maximum ability.
